Bodycology Sugar Scrub

I love shopping at discount stores because it gives me a chance to sample products that I normally wouldn’t purchase under their original price tags. Enter Bodycology Sugar Scrub (Vanilla Amber Musk). Before I decided to try this “tempting blend of comfort,” as the packaging suggests, I read the ingredients and directions. Almond oil and honey are supposed to provide hydrating and conditioning results, alongside soybean and sesame seed oil.
I sniffed the product. Smells just like uncooked, margarine-filled cookie dough. It’s not an unpleasant scent, but it’s distinct.
While in the shower, I slathered the sugar scrub on my arms and legs. The sensation of sugar particles rubbing against the skin is quite invigorating. You massage in the scrub until the crystals have dissolved and then rinse. A stream of milky residue falls down the body, and you instantly feel a buttery protective coating on your skin. After the shower, there is no need to apply lotion. Hours pass and the results of the scrub continue to soften my skin with a subtle scent.
One thing I should mention, especially for those of you who skip reading directions – the product does make showers and tubs slippery as indicated in bold writing on the container. I have no idea how to avoid this deathtrap, but believe me – it’s a hazard when left unaware.
Overall, I am quite pleased with this product.
