Pringles EXTREME Hoppin’ Horseradish
Posted on Thursday, January 28th, 2010
Don’t you hate when something says ‘Limited Time Only’ or ‘Limited Edition?’ For me, it usually means torture because I’m constantly falling in love with something that I’ll have to part with after a certain holiday, season, or promotion.
Pringles EXTREME Hoppin’ Horseradish is something of an enigma to me because while it actually smells (and at times) tastes like barbeque flavoring, it packs the punch, sensation, and overall taste of horseradish. I’m a big fan of horseradish sauce on hamburgers and wasabi-flavored nuts. Surprisingly, just like real horseradish (or wasabi), you can actually feel a tingle on your tongue, nasal passages and lips when eating this Pringles flavor. Love it! Offered in the Super Stack packaging, this particular flavor of Pringles is available for a limited time only (boo) and costs around $1.50.
Pringles is continuously experimenting with outrageous flavors (like Blazin’ Buffalo Wing, Cheeseburger, or Screamin’ Dill Pickle), so the chances of Hoppin’ Horseradish decorating the shelves of your local grocery store is slim to none. Perhaps, if I try really hard – the Laws of Attraction will work in my favor – it worked for the Cheesecake Pancakes at IHOP.
Fun Fact: According to the Pringles, every Super Stack can contain an average of 100 crisps.
