I first noticed with Flirty Aprons and now, I’ve found Emily’s Apron Creations, where you can express yourself in the kitchen in more ways than one. While Flirty Aprons consists of a lot of sassy (and even seductive) aprons, Apron Creations has a great deal of imaginatively unique options to consider. For example, I’ve never seen an Outer Space Apron before. I absolutely love the blue colors in this apron.

Most Apron Creations are made from 100% cotton with ties at the neck and waist. The prints are very eye-catching. Bike lovers may choose I Heart Bicycles. The Magic Unicorn apron is perfect for a daydreamer who loves to cook. The Bumblebee Polka Dot apron is a lively treat. There is also a line of 100% organic barkeep aprons in red and navy.

From customized initial charms to colorful earrings, JustJaynes is a delightful Etsy shop that offers handmade creations centered on subjects, such as trees, flowers, animals, insects, faith, peace, and birds – including birdcages, birdhouses, and symbolic feathered friends.

The detailed flower earrings (shown below) are what first caught my eye, and after browsing more of JustJayne’s selection, I found a wide-ranging collection of sterling silver charms – from hedgehogs to chili peppers. I actually just bought the Raspberry Rose Earrings and White Flower Ring pictured below…with free shipping – woohoo!

I like how JustJayne inserts interesting background information in the description of her pieces. For example, her Tree of Life necklace description states “The Tree of Life is a universal symbol found in many spiritual traditions. It symbolizes many things, including wisdom, protection, strength, bounty, beauty, and redemption.” For the Honey Bee Earrings, you learn that “in many religions, honeybees are commonly depicted as messengers for the spirits, and are closely associated with the sun. In ancient Egypt, they’re the tears of the sun-god Ra.”

My mother is an ace at sewing and I’ve always wanted that particular talent to trickle down to me, but it didn’t, so I greatly admire people who create handmade goods with a sewing machine or simple needle and thread. I’ve been following the Etsy shop, SewMuchDetail (don’t you just love the name?) for awhile now and I think it’s time to share with you the talents of Sandee – the mind behind the magical keychain wristlets.

With a love for fabrics (both modern and vintage), Sandee creates the most striking, unique wristlet keychain key fobs. I’ve been meaning to purchase one, but seriously, choosing just one is quite a dilemma. The different colors and designs alone encourage you to buy one for every day of the week and to celebrate holidays in style. Twitter is forever introducing me to impressive handmade finds, such as the collection of @ErstwhileUrchin – an Etsy artisan residing in British Columbia, Canada. I believe the Erstwhile Urchin creates clothing that speaks to literary minds and lovers of fairy tales. As their profile states: “Busily ripping, tearing and stitching back together. Recreating the fading finery of the 19th century London Town urchin.”

I first happened upon the eye-catching designs of Tilleyjewels when I feasted my eyes on this Wrap Bracelet.
