Tazo Tea – Passion
Posted on Sunday, January 3rd, 2010
Perhaps you’ve stepped into a Starbucks and caught sight of the colorful selection of Tazo Teas, which happens to be one of my favorite brands. Today, I’d like to mention an addicting herbal infusion that I first discovered while staying at the Metropolitan Hotel in Toronto.
This caffeine-free dream couldn’t have been given a better name – “Passion.” Honestly, when you open up the packet and take a deep whiff, it actually smells like ‘love.’ It’s a romantic scent that only gets better after you’ve brewed the tea.
It’s only been a year since I’ve discovered the various highs and lows of tea-brewing– like how you can’t leave teabags in the water for hours and expect to retain its intended taste. But, with this one – I’ve had the teabag sit overnight and still enjoyed a full-flavored blend without a bitter aftertaste.
Tazo Passion contains lemongrass, hibiscus, rose hips, mango, and passion fruit – creating a blend that I feel non-tea drinkers or people who crave sweetness in their drinks will enjoy. There is no need to add anything to Tazo Passion, as you will simply ruin the experience. Overall, there is a sweet tartness that truly warms the mind, body, and heart.
Definitely, one of my favorites!
