The Flying Cupcake Bakery – Indianapolis

If I ever get a chance to visit Indianapolis again, I will definitely seek out the Flying Cupcake Bakery, where they have a tantalizing selection of creative cupcakes.
They offer “regular” cupcakes, such as Peppermint Twist (with peppermint buttercream) and Cloud 9 with marshmallow buttercream topped with shaved white chocolate. The cupcake that I absolutely want to sample is The Bee’s Knee’s (light honey pear cupcake scented with ginger and topped with honey buttercream). It’s only available from June 1 through December 31. Doesn’t that sound heavenly???
If you’re looking for something larger to satisfy a hearty appetite, they have jumbo cupcakes, like the Blueberry Cream Cheese Blues with cream cheese cake topped with cream cheese.
For a sweet treat with a surprise inside, the Flying Cupcake Bakery produces filled cupcakes, such as the Dreamsickle – an orange cupcake filled with vanilla cream and topped with orange buttercream. The Dreamsickle is only available from June 1 to August 31.
There are two locations in Indianapolis where you’ll find the Flying Cupcake Bakery: 5617 N. Illinois Street and 715 Massachusetts Ave.
