Touch’d Sugar Scrub – Tropical Paradise
Posted on Saturday, June 19th, 2010
I just spent the entire day at the beach and thought today would be a good time to try out my sample of Touch’d Tropical Paradise Sugar Scrub. For starters, the scent is intoxicating and I had to repeatedly remind myself that this is not an edible treat and it is meant for pampering my skin.
Sugar scrubs offer a healthy method of exfoliation, which removes dead skin cells that can clog pores. Stimulating the skin, you can also use Touch’d Sugar Scrub to improve circulation and moisturize.
An uplifting blend of coconut and pineapple overrides my senses as I take in the fragrance of Touch’d Tropical Paradise Sugar Scrub. *Don’t taste. Don’t taste.* With a small amount in the palm of my hand, I target my legs and arms – not because the skin is rough and dry, but because I want to rejuvenate the skin after basking in the sun (yes, I did wear sunscreen). The experience was invigorating. The sugar crystals energized my skin as they rolled across and eventually disintegrated along my legs and arms.
After my shower, I felt like a Hawaiian princess. My skin was delicately covered in a blanket of scents from a tropical island that lasted well into the night. My skin was soft and …alive. In the end, I’m so proud of myself for not attempting to taste the sugar scrub. If you ever have a chance to try Touch’d Tropical Paradise Sugar Scrub, then you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Additional Touch’d Sugar Scrub flavors (I mean scents) include Cucumber Melon, Sugar n Spice, Dream, Warm Vanilla, Almond Puff, and Unscented.

oooo – that sounds so yummy!! Was it sticky at all? I made a homemade sugar scrub recently and loved it, other than the fact that it was a wee bit sticky. The stickiness isn’t a problem in the shower, but the container I put it in was terrible!
I think I’m going to experiment with a half salt/half sugar scrub next time. I love the smell of coconut so I may try it with some coconut oil rather than olive this time!
It wasn’t sticky at all… After some time, the oil rose to the top and the sugar settled to the bottom. I just used my finger to swirl it around again. Oh yeah…coconut oil sounds like a good choice.
